International Dental Physiology Quiz 2016 ( iDPQ )

Hi guys! It's been a while since my last entry. And December is approaching us which mean that 2016 are about to end. When I come to think about it, a lot of things had happened in 2016 (sweet and sour experiences and moments of course). Besides, too much things to be grateful and took the lessons of. From day to day it makes me become a stronger person.

Last 26th November 2016 at the University of Malaya, Malaysia
I entered this programme called iDPQ organised by Persatuan Pergigian Universiti Malaya (DENSOC) in corporation with Malaysian Dental Students' Association (MDSA) and department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya.

Many participating team from different university from Asia were also joining in this programme such as

Aimst University
International Islamic University Malaysia
International Medical University
Khon Kaen University (Thailand)
Lincoln University College
MAHSA University
Melaka-Manipal Medical College
SEGi University
Universiti Teknologi MARA
Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia)
Universitas Indonesia (Indonesia)
Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia
University of Dental Medicine, Yangon (Myanmar)
Universiti Sains Malaysia
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
University of Malaya

It's an oral competition before a live audience. 4 teams will be paired to compete in each Quiz session. And 3 students in each team go on stage in each session. The Quiz master will field the questions to individual student in each team. If the students fail to answer or answer incorrectly, the team can discuss for a second response.

If the team still does not give the correct answer, the question is available to the opponent team to respond. Marks of 3,2,1 will be scored for that three responses.

I'm proud to represent my university but disappointed at the same time as we're not capable to be selected for 2nd round. Tho we had struggled almost every night with study group and discussion with the lecturers but it's just not our luck or probably we're just not good or prepared enough to be competing with them.

However I can see the consequences of the Quiz. At least I had covered part of the subject, for the PRo Exam. Thanks to GOD for such a perfect planning. Alhamdullilah...

Plus my supportive classmates that were there since morning till the end. You guys are so awesome
